Furthermore, regularly rotating the chair to avoid prolonged exposure to light or heat on one side allows the wood to be evenly exposed to environmental influences, reducing deformation caused by localized differences in moisture levels.

Long-term maintenance requires a balance of cleaning and protection. When cleaning, do not use a damp cloth or rough fabric to wipe the surface, as this may allow moisture to seep in or scratch the surface. Use a dry, soft cotton cloth to gently remove dust. For deep cleaning, apply a small amount of furniture cleaner, wipe, and immediately dry with a cloth. Apply wood wax or furniture wax to the chair quarterly, spreading it evenly along the wood grain. After the wax has penetrated, polish with a soft cloth. This nourishes the wood and forms a protective film, enhancing its moisture resistance.
